Marching Together Skyline Heroes Hike
On 19 July 2025, deep in the heart of the Peak District, the Dambusters Skyline Heroes Hike takes place – calling on adventurers to conquer 25 km of trails, ascend 650 m, and discover the stirring history of the 1943 Dambusters Raid. It’s no ordinary trek – it’s a testament to endurance, camaraderie, and purpose.
This year, TSSI Recruit, a global leader in telecoms, IT, and digital staffing, is stepping up with a team of recruits, ready to band together, push limits, and support veterans through HELP for HEROES. Their mission? To channel their core company values into every stride they take.
And we at RAW Adventures are honoured to be the team delivering the adventure.
Powered by Purpose, Delivered by RAW
At RAW Adventures, we believe in the transformative power of the outdoors. Whether it’s scaling peaks, navigating valleys, or discovering hidden resilience, every step in nature has the potential to change lives.
We’re proud to be the adventure partner for this incredible fundraising event – guiding teams through the stunning Dambusters Skyline route and creating a day that’s physically challenging, emotionally uplifting, and unforgettably rewarding.
From meticulous route planning and mountain safety to inspiring historical insights and expert encouragement on the ground, our experienced team will be there every step of the way.
This isn’t just an event – it’s an opportunity to come alive in the outdoors with purpose.
Shared Values in Every Step
Care & Commitment
Just as TSSI invests in people – building careers, supporting service leavers, and championing growth – it’s this fundamental care that also fuels HELP for HEROES. By joining forces, they show how corporate heart can turn into real-world action.
Teamwork & Trust
Recruiters thrive on trust and partnership. On the trail, that same ethos unites hikers – boosting morale, setting pace, and cheering each other on toward the summit.
Resilience & Impact
TSSI’s “Heroes to Hire” initiative empowers transitioning service members. In turn, fundraising adventures like this one give veterans a renewed sense of direction—supporting lifelong recovery through community, challenge and care.
Why Heroes Hikes Matter
1. A Challenge with Meaning
Strap on your boots, navigate the UK’s breathtaking landscapes, and earn the reward – an exclusive finisher’s medal, guided historical insights, a celebratory glass of fizz, and the knowledge that every mile counts.
2. Strengthening Teams and Resilience
This event isn’t just about individual grit – it’s about bonds forged in shared sweat and laughter. For corporate groups, it builds camaraderie, sharpens leadership instincts, and cultivates collective resilience.
3. Fuelling Vital Support
Each participant commits to raising at least £200 – funding critical services such as mental health support, physical rehabilitation, and community-based recovery programmes.
TSSI Recruit: Leading by Example
TSSI’s leadership team is already in training mode, sharing their journey online and inspiring peers and clients alike. Their presence is more than symbolic – it’s a beacon of encouragement. It signals that when organisations live their values, they can catalyse meaningful change.
Join Us on the Skyline
At RAW Adventures, we believe in adventures that matter. The Dambusters Skyline is more than a physical challenge – it’s a celebration of service, community, and what happens when we step forward, together.
