The Welsh 3000s, also known as the 15 Peaks, is a renowned mountaineering challenge in the stunning setting of Snowdonia (Eryri) that typically involves climbing every peak over 3,000 feet (914.4 metres) within 24 hours.

Our 3 day Welsh 3000s challenge takes you up and over three mountain ranges in three days: Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Crib Goch if the weather allows, the Glyderau, and the Carneddau, each presenting unique challenges and incredible scenery. At the end of each day, we’ll return you to your cosy accommodation at Lon Dryll Outdoors for a good rest before tomorrow’s adventure.
You’ll be guided by RAW’s professional, friendly mountain leaders who know the route and area intimately, leaving you free to immerse yourself in the experience.
With a total ascent of over 12,000 feet (3,658 metres), and the famously changeable Eryri weather to contend with, the 3 day Welsh 3000s is still very much a challenge. You’ll need to be in good physical condition and able to withstand sustained activity over the full 3 days, including steep ascents and descents. We’ll provide a kit list and preparation tips ahead of the event, and our team is on hand to answer any questions you may have.
