Do you need further staff for your expeditions?
RAW Adventures can provide DofE Supervisors and Accredited Assessors. We place excellent #TeamRAW staff to work with our DofE groups. We ensure those staff are experienced in planning and delivering high standards of DofE training as well as holding a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of the Expedition Supervisor and Assessor and the practical implications of providing these roles on the ground.
When working with young people, their safety and well-being is always at the forefront of what we do. We shape our approach and style of supervising and instruction to support this. We will work through processes where teams may make non-consequential mistakes, where we think it will highlight and help them learn from certain situations.
This approach to self-development takes judgement and skill, hence we only work with experienced and qualified staff who understand these development principles.
We will monitor teams more closely if we think they’re feeling challenged, and will facilitate them coming to their own decisions and conclusions to then improve their practice for next time.
RAW Adventures fully respects the key role of the DofE Expedition Assessor and we will always provide an Assessor who is not only well experienced, but who is also friendly, supportive, approachable and professional with every group they work with, at whatever level.
We ensure the 20 conditions for the Expedition section are met and fully support every team of young people on their way to a successful expedition.
