Fifteen peaks. 4200 metres.
The Welsh 3000s is one of the toughest mountain challenges in the UK and attracts thousands of participants every year. Traditionally, the goal is to summit 15 peaks (all over 3,000 feet) in one day, although you can also choose to complete it over three days.
During the challenge you’ll ascend over 4,200m across three magnificent Welsh mountain ranges in spectacular scenery.
Whether you’re tackling this epic mountain journey solo, for charity or as part of a team, our guided Welsh 3000s events will help you get the very best out of the experience. RAW’s qualified Mountain Leaders know the route intimately - leaving you free to push yourself to your limit without worrying about navigation.
* Cut Offs
To keep you, your fellow challengers and your Mountain Leaders safe on the mountains, we stick to strict cut offs on this challenge, as outlined on our timings. If you are running behind time, we will need you to withdraw from the challenge to ensure you are not on the mountain for longer than safely necessary.
We will transport you back to Llanberis from Nant Peris/Ogwen Valley.
Just a quick note to say a huge thanks to you and the team at RAW – it was such a good day. The guides were amazing, and the organisation and support was also incredible. Would definitely recommend you guys to others.
